Yes! Upon completing the self-paced program, you’ll receive a Sound Healing Certification from Sound Wisdom. This certification validates your skills and knowledge, giving you the credibility to offer sound healing professionally.
If you qualify for the 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Certification, which requires the upgrade to Mentorship, you’ll also receive a certification through Yoga Alliance, enabling you to become a 500-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher specializing in Sound Meditation or Nāda Yoga.

If you’re already a certified 200-Hour Yoga Teacher, the Sound Wisdom Self-Paced Training qualifies you to receive an additional 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Certification in Sound Yoga through Yoga Alliance.

While the course is self-paced, our online system tracks your progress as you watch videos and complete the modules. You’ll be able to see your progress percentage and know which sections you’ve completed and what’s left.
There’s no formal requirement to submit work unless you’re pursuing the Yoga Alliance certification. However, we encourage you to engage fully with the exercises, demonstrations, and practice sessions. You can also book optional private sessions for feedback or guidance as you go.

Sound Wisdom now offers training for individual instruments, so you can choose to focus on one tool, such as gongs, crystal bowls, or tuning forks. Each individual course is a complete training, covering:
Techniques specific to that instrument.
History, philosophy, and energetic anatomy.
Private and group applications.
However, the full training offers deeper integration. Each instrument you learn adds new techniques and perspectives that can be applied across all tools. If you think you might explore other instruments in the future, it’s worth enrolling in the full course now and starting with the instrument that resonates most with you. The program is flexible to adapt to your goals.

The Voice

Ritual-Style Drum:
Played with a mallet (should be included with the drum).
Sizes: Small (10–12 inches) and Large (15 inches and up).
Hand-Playing Drum:
Played upright with hands, featuring a thumb hole or groove for stability.
Size: Medium (15–16 inches).
2. Gongs:
Stationary Gong: 28 inches or larger with a stand.
Handheld Wind Gong: 16–18 inches, lighter for mobile use.
3. Himalayan Singing Bowls:
A set of 3–7 bowls, with a mix of harmonious and dissonant tones.
At least two bowls should be suitable for on-body sound healing.
4. Crystal Singing Bowls:
Full Set: C Major Scale (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C).
Starter Set: A chord set (A, C, E, G).
5. Tuning Forks:
Unweighted Tuning Forks: C Major Scale or Harmonic Spectrum.
Weighted Tuning Forks: 32 Hz, 64 Hz, 128 Hz, 136.1 Hz.
6. The Voice (Sanskrit Mantra):
No materials required, though a harmonium and recommended apps can enhance practice.
Additional Percussion Instruments: Koshi chimes, bar chimes, shakers, rattles, rain sticks, and ocean drums are recommended extras.
